Absolutely! It is advisable to get a mold inspection during construction to prevent mold from impacting the foundation of the house.
It could take mold within 24 hours to appear within a residence. Any small area of dampness could absorb mold spores and rapidly enhance the spread of mold.
You should be concerned anytime you have water intrusion/musty odor and or see something out of the ordinary.
It is advisable to get it checked regularly. The suggest amount is every couple of months.
It is not required. However, any mold exposure could be a deal breaker in potential deals so it is advisable to get a thorough check before finalizing anything.

A normal inspection takes 1-2 hours to do a thorough examination.
This is not the case! Commercial properties and other structures should be inspected for mold regularly. Mold does not discriminate and can appear anywhere.
The biggest trouble spots include Bathroom, Kitchens, under sinks, behind dishwashers, air vents/crawlspaces, laundry room, and the area surrounding the water heater.
Each room should be inspected. Air samples or surface swabs are taken to get an accurate understating of mold present.
